Preserving Memories

Featured Replies

Already this is a special season. I wonder what y'all are doing, if anything, to preserve some memories. I'm hearing some saved games, newspapers, etc.

I've got a bunch of Sun Times sports covers up in my cube....otherwise, that's it...for now.

I'll be collecting newspaper headlines when it comes to clinching/playoff series.

Right now all I do is save ticket stubs, like I always do.

Unfortunately there is no ChiSox memorabilia to collect in NY so I'm hoping I don't lose my mind anytime soon :)

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ what he said

I'll keep newspapers when it gets closer, but right now I'm not too interested in those because I can read the extended version of these articles online. However, since the beginning of spring training I've been saving various pictures from the internet from Sox games, etc. I could end up doing something really cool with those.

Every year I save the standings with the dates until the Sox are officially out. Ticket stubs also. Lord.. I have a suitcase full.

Every game I go to I collect some hair from the best player of that game. By the end of season I will have my full-size White Sox "hair" player to keep me warm at night.

Nothing yet, when it comes to fall I will do it.

I use the sportsline picture trick thing and save all of the postgame pictures into a big file. I end up with a huge amount of pictures. I did it for the Illini's season too, it's a great way to bring back a lot of memories of specific games.

Ill save the paper that says White Sox Win World Series... until that nothing.

That would have to be the Sun-times. If it was the Cubune, it would look like:

Cubs Fire Dusty Baker, Hire Jim Belushi

White Sox Win World Series

I miss 2 or 3 Sox games a week so I have to Tivo them. I've transfered some of the best games to VHS. The best games to to DVD.

I do the same. Only I save pictures, too. At the end of the season, regardless of the outcome, I'll probably make a video montage through my business.

Yeah I've saved the Sportline pictures from every game this season.

I'm going to order SI to get that box they always put together when a team wins a championship. That'll be the only reason I order SI.

If the White Sox win the world series I'd be screwed financially, every penny I have would be gone. Oh well.

I have kept just about everyday's Trib from the games the Sox have won, along with ticketstubs. I have kept ticketstubs for years though.
