YEAH RIGHT WILLIE!

LOL!!! He should just go back to washing dirty jock straps in the clubhouse and shut his trap.

as The Rock used to say, "Know your role and SHUT your mouth", Willie you suck. :finger

Harris is just not a good player. He sucks on the field, as is not exactly a good clubhouse guy. We'd be better off without him in the organization. Back-up 2nd baseman are easy to find. The Twins have like 5 of them who are easily better than Willie.

Willie has always played better with consistant playing time. He's still more valuable then Timo even while completely blowing offensively. Third if you actually read the article it says he desires more playing time, who doesn't. What do you expect him to say. I'm perfectly happy never being any better then what I am now. It's fun to blame this game on Willie but the guy hasn't played in like a week. He shouldn't of been in the 2 spot period...

BTW, I don't want anyone on the bench who doesn't think they should be playing more. I just hope Ozzie doesn't agree with this.

I think this game shows how valuable Iguchi is to this team. Like I said earlier, Pods was on 3 times tonight, in pretty key situations, and Iguchi has moved him over time and time and time again.

Iguchi has been huge this season, and this game shows it.

your right there :cheers

Harris probably couldn't have done worse tonight if he tried. Really, he couldn't. He can take his sorry ass and supposed bad clubhouse demeanor and get the f*** off this team. He can blow me.

Sorry, WHarris.

after his s***ty performance today his ass better be in charlotte

Yeah because 1 bad game calls for a demotion, Willie it seems hasnt had a start forever and than to put him in the 2 spot against a pretty good pitcher recently is asking for trouble. Im not saying he didnt suck today, because he really really sucked, but if your going to have a guy take that much time off in between starts and put him in possibly the toughest spot in the order to hit... thats asking for trouble.

What I dont get is with just having an off day and due for another break soon with the all star break.... Why would our starters need days off? If anyone was going to get a day off it should only be pauly and pods and pauly already had his. Especially since we are going against a team we have had a really really tough time beating.

I think the fact that Timo and Willie were in the lineup today was just an audition for interested teams. Obviously, no one is going to trade for Timo, but I'm sure someone would pick him up after he clears the 10 days.

I think Willie is about to be bye-bye. I have a feeling that he might be going to other way in a deal, not only that, but I'm pretty sure what deal.

Willie is going to be included in the Schmidt deal, I'm quite sure. We are getting Vizquel back, which gives us a backup at SS, and probably just a starter. Then Uribe moves to a backup role at SS and 2B, along with Ozuna.

That's just my .02, and I could be completely off and full of s***.

I agree with you BUT willie doesnt have any business saying he should be playing more when he has got Tad Iguchi who is, game in and game out, doing the small things to win games. We got our team set and if willie cant accept his role as a bench player who can help his team as that, a bench player, than he should go elsewhere and be that with a team who would take him as an everyday player.

Timo does the little things to help you win. Clutch hits, a very good arm, and desceptivley slow. He will be on the team because he is a smart veteran who can play his role perfectly. Also Harris doesn't use his speed at all because he is a terrible baserunner. He almost never steals when he is on.

excuse me did you say smart veteran, go watch clips of the mets WS and than tell me how smart he has been. And while he was really clutch last year this year he has been just really s***ty 0 clutchness just 100% crapness.

After tonight's performance, it should be perfectly clear who gets the boot when Ross Gload comes back. Harris didn't even look like he was trying. Ozuna has played the game, in his short time here, the way Willie should have been playing all along.

Ozuna hustles. He plays the game hard and I like watching him play. He is fun to watch.

Exactly my point. Which makes it even more obvious why Harris is expendable.

In all due respect, I've heard a lot of crazy things on message boards, but saying that Timo is deceptively fast might be the most false statement ever. If anything, Timo is deceptively slow. Yes, he's a short guy who doesn't hit homers. Thus, people think he should be fast. However, he's incredibly slow for his size, and has well below MLB average speed. Did you see how slow he looked trying to stretch his hit into a double today? Get the piano off your back! Timo also is so slow that he has to play extremely deep in the outfield, which leads to poor range.
