Frank Thomas made his major league debut for the Sox vs. the Milwaukee Brewers, going 0-4 with 1 RBI.

I can't say enough about how great of a player Frank was. I wish him the best in his recovery and I hope he is able to come back and play a few more good years.

Its too bad he had some blowups, but aside from that, he was definately a great player.

Happy anny Frank!!

My mind must be going to crap. I thought Frank hit a triple off the top of the wall in his debut?

Hmm....I wonder what play I'm thinking of. Maybe his first hit in the big leagues?

He tripled against Milwaukee in his 2nd game

I remember the radio call of that triple. I was working my first job at the Cinnabon at the mall. I became the hugest Thomas fan since that moment.

Blame baseball-almanac.com if this is the case. That is where I saw the box score.

Just think 15 years ago today Frank thomas makes his debut and goes 0-4 and today geof blum makes his white sox debut and goes 1-4. Blum is on pace to do better

I can't believe it's been 15 years. Frank has been a joy and a pleasure to watch over the Years. I really hope he's able to finish his career in Chicago.
