Sooner or later he is going to make good contact with a ball. Plus he is playing in the cell and dont rule out that inside the parker.

Triple = Podsednik getting to 2nd base.

I'm pretty sure he'll get it, he had 12 homers last year, he does have the power.

Eventually one is going to fly outta the park.

I don't want him to start trying to hit HRs. That's not his game.

If he hits a homerun, Ozzie will probably fine him. His job is to get on base and raise hell.

I'm sure he will accidently get a hold of one and itll fly out of USCF at some point or another.

Im afraid that if he does, its gonna mess his swing up bigtime. Pods has hardly pulled the ball at all this year, and I have seen him put a charge into a ball hard enough to send it(opposite field) out maybe once the entire year. If Pods starts trying to pull the ball for any reason, his inside-out swing could be ruined for a period of time.

 

I am happy with Pods game the way it is right now, he doesnt need to start thinking "well I am in a homerun hitters park, why not?"

I'd settle for him just getting another hit sometime this year... boy is he slumping.

I have a feeling that he won't hit one during the regular season, then he'll come up in a clutch situation late in a close playoff game and crank one, and it'll be spectacular.
