When's the last time Iguchi got the runner over? He's been striking out almost every time in that situation lately.

Who else agrees Rowand should be batting 3rd vs lefty?

This just in:

In an attempt to become more streamlined, Paul Konerko is clean shaven.

f*** you and your stretch hawk

Blueprint example of everything that's been going wrong lately with our offense. PK sure does look good at the plate though....thought that ball was gone off the bat.

Man on 2nd, nobody out... No runs score.

Same old sorry ass White Sox.

1 run in the last 45 innings that wasn't via the HR

eh...some good wood at least.

Thought that was at least off the baggy for sure. Metrodome must wait til Twins come up to turn those fans on.

I thought it was his audition for the yankees

BTW, that's now 3 times in last 3 games that Iguchi K'd with a runner on 2nd, no outs in the first inning.

crap.. well at least we still have 8 innings to score

What ever became of that story? Does Major League Baseball keep an eye on that crap?

only noteworthy thing so far:

paul konerko's facial hair was not to blame for his suckitude

please stop swining at first pitches.... even if it is a strike, have to get santana to throw a lot of pitches

...the big story here is Iguchi's inability to get the man over the past few weeks.

A bad stretch, but they are tough pitchers. He is still an excellent #2 hitter.

he's really been struggling in that department lately, oddly enough, that's the department he excelled at the first half.

Is that a scoreless first inning I see?

I'm sure we'd have to lose 20 games in a row before any serious changes were made to the greatest team ever assembled, but I don't see why we can't let Rowand bat 2nd, and Iguchi 3rd.

The problem is Rowand has sucked big time too. Maybe a lineup shakeup would help out though. I'm all for Iguchi batting 3rd.

Exactly, maybe moving Rowand up in the order would get him going. He's just as good as hitting to the opposite field as Iguchi is. As a matter of fact, Iguchi might be our worst hitter when it comes to runners in motion. He gives himself up so often when Pods is trying to run, and he has a ton of strikeouts because of it.

Santana's change up = unfair

2 quick outs

None of it really matters when Santana faces us though. Cept for that one horrible game when he was hurt.

Now that's some quality woodwork right there
