I don't think she is a duck, just a generic bird. and hername is Birdy the Early Bird. When the character was launched the idea is that she would be the breakfast mascot I guess.

Also, the Fry Guys were originally called "The Gobb'lins" (I think that is how it's spelled), because their favorite activity was gobb'lin up your fries.
