Real good win, here's hoping NW can take care of business in Evanston tomorrow.

You guys do realize the game isn't over yet, right?

It's over

Hey look we're in a new forum. Looking good.

Weird, a new forum now...bracket banter. Sweet.

What a horrible name for this sub forum. The person who thought of it should be banned.

It's 1 hour away from March on the East coast. It's time to start it up.

Did you make your sig?  Pretty damn sweet.

Actually this is a goldmember special from last year when they were the second to last team to lose there first game after starting 20-0. He made it for my trip to South Bend where they actually lost there first game. I've always used it at eagleaction and decided to use it here.

Huge huge huge road win.

Now we cheer our ASSES OFF for NW tomorrow night. GO WILDCATS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

(Puts on purple pajamas)

Great win for the Illini. Minnesota had beaten three straight ranked teams at home. I still believe, talent-wise, Minny is an NCAA tourney team, but obviously they won't be in the tourney unless they win the BT Tourney.

Oh well Minny :(

At home, Minny is a NCAA tourny team, but on the road, they are nothing :(

Agreed. However, it took them way too long to get started in the Big Ten.

props to james augustine tonight. he gets a fair amount of criticism for not playing up to his potential, but tonight he played the type of game that he's capable of.

Yeah, and he added the passing game tonight. Every broadcaster says this team goes as Dee Brown goes, but it Auggie isn't playing well, this team goes nowhere as well. When he stays out of foul trouble, Illinois wins.

Exactly. James has kicked it up a notch the last week or so.

If Krush gives me my 20 bucks back then I'm down. :P  Seriously, if I had any money I'd be down for that but poor college kid and so on.  I'm up for a sig bet if you'd like?

No sig bet thanks.... Just hold off on a few beers this week and you should have the $20 in time!

Come on guys, there's no way that NU is going to beat OSU. I'm an NU fan and I can't see it happening. Dials is going to kill us inside, and we allow far too many open perimeter shots. NU was lucky to be as close as they were last time. OSU probably isn't going to miss 20 three pointers again.

Can you please let us dream?

OCBT,

I thought you were gone. I was so worried.

Why didn't you call?

I thought you were lying in a ditch somewhere.

You know I love you... Why do you do this to me?

I'm sorry. I just care about you so much.

Next time you move, call me. Please.

XOXOXO,

The Cheat

Sorry, I can't let that happen. :P

They just aren't a very good team. Vukusic and Hachad are their only legit Big Ten players at this point in their career. Everyone else can only do it in spurts, which come rather infrequently. Plus, they already used up their two solid games against stronger competition this year.

QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Feb 28, 2006 -> 09:44 PM)
You guys are most likely going to have them in the first round of the tourny, correct?

Not at all. We'll probably be the 10 seed, pitting us against the 7, which is now Tech.

Well I lied then, I thought for some reason I saw that projected. I didn't even look at the standings or anything when I asked that question. My bad. :bang
