I have three words. "Maize and Blue" :D :D :D

Michigan beats MSU so rarely that they feel inclined to rush the court when they win.

2 out of their last 14 now.

Anyhow, they outplayed MSU and deserved to win.

Davis played like s*** and Neitzel got schooled by Horton.

But it's tough to win on the road in the Big 10 when the home team shoots 34 free throws and you shoot 10.

Ha that's happening too much now. Iowa shot 30 to our 8 last night.

Missouri shot 32 tonite. :P

Doesn't matter when you make 14, and the other team goes 25-27.

KU with a huge road win at Texas A&M. Brandon Rush is well ....really good.

I hope to dear God Hilton Magic shows up Saturday morning. I'm fully expecting the yellow unis.

I was really impressed by our big men tonight. Getting the ball inside is something we haven't seen much of this season and tonight we were very succesful with it.

Yay for brian randle :cheers

Security kept me from running on the floor tonight after the huge home win...

Steve, good job on the wave in the 2nd half you dbag

Well i'm off to the game against Minnesota, we'll show Iowa how not rush the floor after a home win. Take notes Jason  :bang

I know this is just good natured ribbing, and we all hate the whole rushing-the-floor-so-i-can-be-cool-and-on-TV-and-I-am-so-going-to-the-ATOs-kegger-after-this-do-you-think-that-little-blonde-from-the-tri-delts-will-give-me-head-if-we-make-jello-shots, but I feel the need to point out the two times Iowa students have rushed the floor it was against the #5 and #11 ranked teams at the time.

They're college students. The slightest thing can send a group of them into a frenzy -- I can remember a small riot started when I was at school because it was 65 degrees one night in february. "Hey, I don't need a jacket. Let's go outside, destroy some stuff, and get pepper sprayed by the cops" "Cool, I'm game."

Rushing the floor is now only cool if you do it at your opponents home court. I would love to have seen 1500 Illinois students partying on the wildcat emblem at Welsh-Ryan last week. I would have given them some DAP for that.

Did the Maize Rage storm the floor in Ann Arbor? :P

I didn't get to see the game cuz of work.

Heads, UNI only up by 2 at half against the powerhouse that is Evansville.  Hopefully Evansville can somehow pull this out, it'd be HUGE.

Sadly, part of the former sentence USED to be true......

warren carter needs to listen to BTO so he can take care of business and play saturday

Man some B10 teams... :headshake

I don't get it. They beat one of the better teams in the country, shouldn't they be excited. Its just like when Iowa beat IU at home. That was the 11th ranked team in the country. For crap sakes its Iowa, what the hell else do they got to be excited about? The growth of corn (ya I'm harsh, but still, they got reason to be excited when their team takes down the 11th rated team in the country).

Same goes for Michigan. Thats one of their biggest wins in a long time and against one of the top schools in the big 10 (my opinion is that they are talent wise the best). Plus had they lost that game they'd really have found themselves in a hole in the conference race. Now MSU is in a bit of a hole.

But I don't think that was because of the refs. We played far more agressive while all you guys did was shoot jumpers.

Alright, finally home for the night with some thoughts... brian Randle is a huge spark to have, Illinois pulled away in the second half with him on the floor. He does all the dirty work, points come on put backs and he plays very good defense. Cut down on the stupid fouls, and we have a heck of a player.

Rich McBride played another solid game, I don't care what the 3 point percentage says. He did quite the job on Grier defnsively. That being said, Jamar is starting to get there defensively, saw a much improved effort from him tonight.

The final thing I have to say is that the wave sucks, and i will join krush in holding steve personally accountable for that travesty being displayed in Assembly Hall tonight. Thats all I got.

Hopefully not, but i fully imagine Stinson to score his usual 30+ against the Jayhawks. Robinson, Chalmers and Rush are really clicking together. I drool at the thought of Sherron Colllins with them next year. The only positive is there is not Count Dracula..err Jackson Vroman this year.

If you're unranked and beat a top 15 team, might as well...
