Capn12
I saw Pods coming to the plate and was thinking, "Good lord Ozzie! Put Timo in or SOMEONE that has a chance in hell of getting one up and out." Thanks for not listening to me Ozzie!!

CSF
Since Jack Buck was the one who made the title phrase so famous after Gibson's home run, allow me to use another one of his classics: GO CRAZY FOLKS! GO CRAZY! What a win!
greg775
I couldn't believe it when he hit it. When the outfielder wasn't moving much, I thought, my god, we win! p.s. color me stupid, but is anderson on our Series roster? If so, great, but I can't imagine him being on there. PUME04
Whats better than watching this game with a Sox fan? Watching it with a Cub's fans. They're ooting for the Astros, Talking $%&* after Bobby lost the lead and then out of nowhere no way, NO way, NO WAY! YESSSSSSS! The look on their face was priceless. Only 2 games away from leaving the Cubs nearly a century in the dust
RME JICO
Pods will be in the cleanup spot for Game 3. That will intimidate Oswalt and he will pitch around Pods to get to Konerko. Anderson is not on the WS roster, but if there is an injury, I think the Sox can bring someone in. B-Mac is there too. It is a great experience for young players. Pods HR was the 14th WS Walk-off HR in history, and it is definitely the most improbable one. The guy hits zero all year, and now has 2 in the post season with a Walk-off in the WS. Amazing just amazing.

bjm676
- The Look on My Face My buddy was over and jokingly said "Wouldn't it be funny if Scotty just ended it right now?" Two pitches later.... This game for sure will be put on DVD as soon as tomorrow.

FlaSoxxJim
Unreal. Did Walker do somethung with Scotty to get some of his power back that he had with the Brewers? Just amazing. And I fly back home tomorrow having not scored the elusive golden ticket, but having the time of my klife taking in the vibe and watching these guys make history with friends and family. 2 more wins and I'll have a smile on my face that will last until Oprning Day. I don't think they can. If Clemens goes down they have to go with what they have. You can only swap players at the end of a series.

No, if there is an injury you're stuck with the guys you have on your 25 man roster. They have a bunch of guys in the dugout who are on the 40 man (borch, Anderson, McCarthy), none of them are eligible to play for the rest of the postseason. CWSGuy406
QUOTE(WinninUgly @ Oct 24, 2005 -> 04:22 AM) Sweet!!! A Home Run - $1 A Home Run in the post season - $10 A Walk off Home Run in the WS - $1,000,000 The faces of Cubs fans watching a Pods Walk off Home Run in the WS - Priceless I think it's pretty pathetic you're thinking about the Cubs after a game-winning, walk off homer in the World Series to go up 2-0. At this point, I'm waaaay past that. JMO, though.
Milkman delivers
I never show any kind of emotion or life during a game unless something huge happens. When PK hit that GS, all I shouted was "YES!" louder than I ever have. When Jenks gave up the lead, I stood up and stomped so hard on the end table that my foot still aches and screamed "f***!" louder than ever. When Pods hit the homer, I don't even remember what I did. I asked one of my friends 10 minutes later and he said I stood up, said "Oh my God" and "Yes" very lowly and calmly walked out of the room. I didn't even know what to do. If that makes sense.

Way opposite of me and probably everyone else here. When Kong hit it I was celebrating a little too much I've gotta admit. The Pods walkoff on the other hand, I was just in shock. I don't like thinking about it but I don't know what I'll do if we win it all.
