Christmas 2005: Where Are You?

Featured Replies

This morning a friend and I are doing some exploring is a local river that minds its way through the area. Development on one end has obscured the waterway and we are looking to trace the original path as best as possible for a Boy Scout trip. Later we will be attending Christmas Eve Mass, dinner, and for the first time in 17 years, I have no, nada, zip, none Christmas gifts to assemble.

Im in Findlay Ohio, exciting I know. Its where my girlfriend is from and her parents still live.

I'm home. We did the Wisconsin trip for Thanksgiving, so the Mom-In-Law is here for the weekend.

@ home. lincoln, illinois.

One of my favorite days of the year.

Relax all day, go to 5:00 Christmas Eve mass, then go to my aunt's house with about 30 others for dinner, catching up, playing with the god-kids. It's the best. :smilesanta

The Pines, beautiful Michigan City Indiana on a rainy Christmas Eve that couldn't be more incredible.

Watching a little football at home, helping out with the move as well. Can't wait till tonight, turkey is going in the oven in a few. Yumm.

Right now it’s nothing but football. In a couple of hours my family and I will be off to Winnetka where my cousins live. After that it’s off to Church. And then its back home, here in Gary, where it should be midnight by the time we return. Just in time for opening presents.

Manhattan, IL for a small family get together.

Took the kids to see Narnia this afternoon, great film, training tonight, laaaaaazy day with the family tomorrow, a club handicapped 4 mile race on Boxing Day and coaching on Tueasday, my birthday. All the running means I can eat, eat eat and drink to my hearts content.

How fun. It was like playing hide and seek, only with a river winding through agriculture and city scapes. I really enjoyed this photo.

You should start a Post-Festivus Celebratory Thread :canada :santa

I am taking a break from delivering gifts to all good Sox fans to wish you all a wonderful Holiday Season. :cheers

Started out in Chicago, went to Mokena and back in Chicago kicking back for an hr or so before midnight mass.

I'm hanging at home waiting for Midnight Mass. I hate having to get up to go to church on Christamas morning

We had lunch at home today, which is what we do every year. Of course it may be the last with the whole family again, depending on what happens with me after I finish Uni, and my sister probably relocating somewhere else in Australia to get the type of job she wants.

i'll be at home in lancaster, ohio. woo-hoo.
