The US is up 5-4 on Germany in the 8th in curling

The US just picked up 3 in the 8th, now leading Germany 8-4.

And the Germans quit after the 9th. US wins, raising their record to 5-2 and could be in first depending on how the other games pan out.

I felt so bad for the Jacobellis. She went for what is considered one of the easier tricks and just ate it. It sucks cause she's by far the best at the sport. You can see her strength when others are hitting her board (especially in her quarterfinal qualifying run).

 

I don't know how the hell they ride with contact. Its totally awesome to watch but god I would hate doing it cause I could see myself getting clipped and just going flying like that one girl who went crashing into the net on the finals.

ROFL BODE MILLER f***S UP AGAIN

I just saw that Shani Davis Gold Medal run-he put a SOX hat on after the race, but his post race interview, was disgraceful. All the interviewer got was attitude-the ONLY medal winner I have seen, and I watch every night, that was not gracious, and appreciative. It was HIS decision to bolt from the team competition, and as usual, no accountability is taken.

1. Shani Davis basically telling the media to kiss his ass after they wanted him to be all nice to them AFTER they made him a bad guy for not being a "team player". That team player stuff was bull s***, just NBC and the guy that won the silver to Davis' gold in the 1000 wanting 5 golds for himself, well done Shani.

The Woman's Aerials was on last night, one of our main hopes Lydia Ierodiaconou had knee surgery about 8 months ago, and when she went for her 2nd jump she tore the ACL in the same knee, after she was 2nd after the 1st jump. Gotta be one of the most tragic things in sports I've seen in quite a while;
