That was definitely the right call.

he should have to go back to second as well

He goes back to first..

Maybe Ozzie wanted to throw Logan right into the fire, to see what he's got in close games. Isn't that how Ozzie used Jenks when he was called up?

Uncle Cliffy needs to pitch ahead, because his velocity is also down.

What happened?

Jenks was throwing 100 when he got called up. You make a mistake on a 100mph pitch not that many people are going to destroy it. When you are hitting 90-91 at the most and you are sitting fastball you can destroy it.

thats a consensus

Its also how he has used Cotts and McCarthy before as well... but no one remembers that right now.

yeah...and jenks wasnt used in 1 run games right away either....he moved quickly into them, but he started out in blowouts

Cliff looks much better today, his slider is much closer to the plate then it was on sunday. Not saying he's going to get out of this but he looks better.

HE GONE, thank goodness, lets get to work

OK we should be leading still, but lets jsut hope we can take the lead again here.

god i hate travis hafner

I actually like what I see out of Boone to be honest. Thornton still worries me more then Logan. Boone is going to be solid this year for us.

Does the f***er always hit homers at the absolute worst time for us or what?

At worst, we need to make Betancourt work; he's really good and I'd rather see Wickman.

I'd like to see Jenks in a save op today........so......let's score here.

One thing I don't want to see is Logan pitching to more than 2 or 3 batters a game. Part of what has made him effective is his deception. Letting him go multiple innings yesterday gives the opposition a chance to get used to his delivery.
