June 23, 200619 yr I am honored, but Im not really 'mod material' heh but thanks anyway btw, 2-0 Twins top of 3. Clemens is all over the place and throwing a lot of pitches, Liriano has forced 2 double plays -- Morneau with his 17th HR of the year 3-0 Twins top of 6 Roger out after 5, something like 100 pitches Edited June 23, 200619 yr by Benchwarmerjim
June 23, 200619 yr Roger takes the loss boo hoo I dont know how a pitcher could stand the Astros park. 314 down the left field line, Berkman hit 2 homeruns this series that went about 320 feet a piece
June 23, 200619 yr QUOTE(Brian @ Jun 22, 2006 -> 11:15 PM) LoL, I'm slow because I just realized that the Tribe is 15 games back. Mercy! Damn. I hope Rowand44 doesn't have any tubgirl sigs in mind.
June 23, 200619 yr Curtis Granderson has really become one of my most hated players in baseball. He's in the middle of everything for Detroit.
June 23, 200619 yr QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Jun 23, 2006 -> 06:18 PM) Curtis Granderson has really become one of my most hated players in baseball. He's in the middle of everything for Detroit. I agree with this statement. lol Dusty Baker ... wow. Im glad he isnt managing my team (although I think Gardy channels his inner Dusty every once in a while). He has Jacque Jones in the lineup..facing Johan Santana. He must be the only person that knows Jacque can not hit left handers to save his life
June 23, 200619 yr Cards have put up a 3 spot so far in the 3rd and we're tied. Edited June 24, 200619 yr by Rowand44

June 24, 200619 yr Carpenter isnt an ace.. last year he was just to fool us.. we are in deep doo doo if this is our team much longer..
June 24, 200619 yr The Tigs spot four in the 5th to take a 7-3 lead. Curtis Granderson strikes again. Edited June 24, 200619 yr by JackTalkThai
June 24, 200619 yr Justin Morneau now has 19 HR and 60 RBI the man is blazing hot right now make that 61 RBI now 5-1 Twins in the 3rd Edited June 24, 200619 yr by Benchwarmerjim
June 24, 200619 yr Do the f***ing sorry ass Cardinals and their beat writers think the Tigers stole signs tonight since they scored 10?
June 24, 200619 yr QUOTE(Benchwarmerjim @ Jun 23, 2006 -> 09:34 PM) Cubs lose to the Twins 7-2 woo Yeah that was pretty much an auto win for you guys with that pitching matchup....Morneau continues to RAKE though, he's finally figured out how good he is. Should be interesting to see which Prior shows up tomorrow agianst the mighty Boof. The Twins are just unlucky to be in the division from hell.....they've won 12 of 14, but have gained pretty much no ground, and are STILL 11 behind Detroit and 10.5 behind us and pretty much hopeless in this race. They are probably a playoff team in the NL too.
June 24, 200619 yr in the last 14 games, the Twins have gained 1/2 of a game insane but, if we finish the season well above .500, I think that would be a sucessful season. Those sweeps against the Sox and Tigers at the beginning of the season is killing the Twins in the standings A lot of Twins fans are hoping Mauer is in the lineup tonight and knock a few hits off Prior
June 25, 200619 yr The Twins are hot right now, probably the second/third hottest team in the AL and the third/fourth in all of baseball.
June 26, 200619 yr QUOTE(Benchwarmerjim @ Jun 24, 2006 -> 12:54 PM) in the last 14 games, the Twins have gained 1/2 of a game insane but, if we finish the season well above .500, I think that would be a sucessful season. Those sweeps against the Sox and Tigers at the beginning of the season is killing the Twins in the standings A lot of Twins fans are hoping Mauer is in the lineup tonight and knock a few hits off Prior Kind of funny how badly the Twins were criticized for taking hometown phenom Mauer instead of taking the more polished Prior #1. Hell, in 2003 the Twins looked even stupider for not taking Prior after the ridiculous season he had. Some 5 years later, Minnesota's laughing up a storm, having probably the best catcher in the game along with having 2 of the most dominant starters in the majors as well while they beat the piss out of the Cubs and that sorry ass #2 pick overall.
June 26, 200619 yr Hell, in 2003 the Twins looked even stupider for not taking Prior after the ridiculous season he had. Irony? Sorry, I couldn't resist it wite. I know I probably look stupider now too.
June 26, 200619 yr QUOTE(knightni @ Jun 26, 2006 -> 03:58 AM) Prior probably would have been better if he had gone to Minny. Healthier for sure. I have never seen an organization so clueless about rehab than the cubbies.
