Game Thread: Sox vs Twinkies 4-21-06

Typical reaction by the Sox after not getting much done against Santana - they start getting anxious.  Must.....stay.....patient.

I was thinking the same thing. Our hitters seem to get intimidated by Santana on the mound, and we make it even easier than it should be. So far tonight, his heater is well ahead of his offspeed stuff.

He literally dropped the ball... But it wouldn't of mattered anyway...

Quite the simple task there...get 4 hits off the best pitcher in baseball.

He's not facing Boone Logan :P

Let it be known that I predicted Anderson would own Santana earlier in this thread.

This game may go 42 innings. And it will still be done by 11.

Heart of the order! It's THOME TIME!!!

Sorry, I meant starting pitcher. My mistake.

So FSN North just showed the guy who has to be Orton.

He likes peanuts.

Did Bert Circle Jerk him?

I just told a friend of mine that this game is going to be 0-0 until the 59th inning when Crede hits a walkoff homer.

After Pierzynski sneaks out to the mound and pulls Santana's pants down. :P

Thome gone...

Kong flies out weakly...

You'd think just once we'd figure out Santana?

...and Dye also flies out like a b****...

At least we are hitting some balls pretty well.

It was the hardest hit ball we've had against Santana in years, it seems like.

Well at least the Twins have like the worst offense in baseball...

Nope.

Did it to Reinsdorf.

No s*** I f***ing HATE it. This guys OWNS us. I swear if he has a few bad starts his medicine is to face the f***ing sox.

I'd hate to have a one game playoff with these guys just because of this f***er.

And he is throwing fewer and fewer pitches per inning. :headshake

Do you really believe that?

When you hit the ball farther against Johan Santana, then you can say he flew out like a b****.

Until then, how the hell is that flying out like a b****? It was a well hit ball.

Yeah, atleast we're hitting it. I think thats a GOOD sign that we may get it going off him. Hopefully, thats before they get to Nathan..

Buehrle is on fire tonight!
