For back to back games as a matter of a fact...

Guys...

on friday i am home.

on friday...I FINALLY GET TO WATCH SOX GAMES!!!

On weekends I think more of us Hoosiers flee to Chicago to watch our Sox.

I think the weather has a lot to do with the high attendance....also the Sox do have the best record in the bigs....

Great day for a ball game. Note to self; pack sun-block from here on out.

How far is the Cell from LaPorte? I'd imagine you just hop on the Toll Road and take the Skyway. From Valpo it's only about an hour pre-construction.

I was impressed with how vocal the crowd was today. Kudos to all the fans who are going to the game. Baseball's the one sport where getting people into the stands, legit or bandwagon, is critical (payroll).

I was there, hooting and hollaring. Definitely a great crowd.

On a bad note thought, this is the 1st game I attended where Thome hasn't HR'd. But the Sox are 5-1 with me in attendance so I won't complain too much.

Not a surprise, even against the Royals. We have always had great walk ups when the weather is decent, especially on weekends, and with the season ticket base like it is now, we should see a lot of sellouts and close to sellouts this year.

It was a beautiful day for a ball game! (And I was well-sunscreened this time; I needed it.)

I said the same thing in the game thread. Very good crowd today, it seemed more like a playoff atmosphere than a Royals game.

no one is happy for me.

YAY BMAGS!

I really wish I could make it out to Chicago this year for a game or two, but unfortunetly, I don't see it happening. I'll have to settle for 2 games in Baltimore (great seats in both games too :D) and possibly the Pittsburgh series.
