I had forgotten how entertaining these threads can be.

Uh, QP, you really aren't allowed in here. Sorry -- I thought Keith Hernandez had told you something.

Keep it up and I am unleashing the attack hamsters.

In case people care, the Marlins have used Nolasco and Pinto vs the Cubs so far. If Wellemeyer is still on the active roster, it would be cool if he came in for the 9th.

It's f***ing awesome how the Marlins are sticking the Pierre trade to Hendry. How did that fool get extended after the first game of the season?

That first win convinced Cub fans they had won the division. They bought up all the tickets. Hendry did his job.

The bad news? 2 more games against the A's this week.

:P

Only a few more episodes of Deadliest Catch left. :(

Hawk sees the strike zone pretty well though, and in this case he's correct.

Vazquez has given up 12 runs to Oakland in his career.

The problem? He's pitched 12 innings against Oakland in his career.

ROFL, Wellemeyer just relieved Pinto. It's quite obvious that Girardi is sticking it to the Cubs.

Me after reading the first line: :cheers

Me after reading the last line: :banghead

That's 101 pitches for Jon through 6.

Maybe Raines will leave him in for the 7th just to save the pen and make his arm fall off so that he can hit the DL.

This is a battle of the two worst 8-9's in all of baseball. Most of the members of soxtalk had a higher blood-alcohol content last wknd than the batting average of these players.

Well, I would say he's giving his players a chance to stick it to them. In the first game of a series in a blowout, it's good to get those jitters out of the way.

Cue it in 3...2...1...

Where would he play?

Sorry...couldn't resist.

Joe is trying to pull EVERYTHING

he's in a bigtime slump. It's what happens unfortunately. And when he gets the bloop, it's at the wrong time.
