I thought it was sorta funny, since someone posted it before here, but one of our broadcasters just said: "Even a broken clock is right twice a day"

Flash, would you rather pay to make Garland go away and have BMac and Garcia in your rotation? Or would you rather trade away Garcia and have Garland and BMac in your rotation?

I think Garland will get his ERA down to 4.5-4.7 giving him SOME value.

Doesn't Garcia have an option for 2008? That would give a team 2 years of Freddy's service

mac, we dont know how he will do his 1st full year. so if he sucks, i dont think we can afford to have him, gar and vazquez(who has been incosistent all yr) in our roatation

i dont think freddy has an opt. it was 3 yrs, the contract

Haha, Garland pitched like s***. Jeez, does he have to give up 9 consecutive homers to have a bad start?

he was awfully close to getting out of the 6th tied 2-2

Um, no. For one it's a day game, and two, my point is not for you to have a stick so far up your ass to the point you want to get rid of a guy because two teams have drastically inflated his stats.

First...the Sunday game is at night. Second, I haven't even looked at Garcia's stats once this season, and that's the truth. I see a pitcher on the mound that has an unexplained dip in velocity, and isn't exactly a Maddux/Rogers/Moyer control pitcher. If Garcia's velocity dropped so much between this year and last year, what are we to expect next year? 82 mph fastball?

BTW Dixie, Crede didn't injure himself on a particular play. Perhaps on his swing in his first AB? He stayed on the bench after the Sox batted.

Good job, Uribe.

I think it's funny that you only post when your team is winning.

EVERYONE GET ON THE SEAN TRACEY LOVE TRAIN!!!!!

Yay a double play!

As Farmio would say, we load the bases here and the next guy hits a HR and bam it's a tie game.

What the hell was that?

SEAN TRACEY > Cliff Politte + Jon Garland + Jeff Nelson.

If Tracey exists this inning without giving up a run, he'll already have bigger balls than Politte and Garland.

DP :)

That was what you call a very weird double play, to say the least.

I think I love Sean Tracey. :o

Lets get the tying run up to the plate.

^^^ that makes two of us.

Where the f*** is the Sean Tracey love thread? It should have been created by now.

Uribe with a game-tying slam to honor his new son.

Thanks, doesn't sound too serious. :pray

Exactly, and if Guillen and Infante hit screamers to score those runs that's one thing, but Jon made 2 awesome pitches on both of those guys and it didn't work out.

Sounds a lot like Mackowiak.
