mac, we dont know how he will do his 1st full year. so if he sucks, i dont think we can afford to have him, gar and vazquez(who has been incosistent all yr) in our roatation

Um, no. For one it's a day game, and two, my point is not for you to have a stick so far up your ass to the point you want to get rid of a guy because two teams have drastically inflated his stats.

 

First...the Sunday game is at night. Second, I haven't even looked at Garcia's stats once this season, and that's the truth. I see a pitcher on the mound that has an unexplained dip in velocity, and isn't exactly a Maddux/Rogers/Moyer control pitcher. If Garcia's velocity dropped so much between this year and last year, what are we to expect next year? 82 mph fastball?

BTW Dixie, Crede didn't injure himself on a particular play. Perhaps on his swing in his first AB? He stayed on the bench after the Sox batted.

Exactly, and if Guillen and Infante hit screamers to score those runs that's one thing, but Jon made 2 awesome pitches on both of those guys and it didn't work out.
