Oh well.. at least they gave it their all.

Great game, guys. I'm happy with this loss more than any I can remember.

BTW, play BA against RHP, wow what a f***ing concept.

Oh well ... That was still very nice

At least we outhit them!!!!

Nice try-its fun seeing a pitcher look like he's crying

Best loss ever. They deserve a standing O for that 9th-inning effort.

Probably the best loss of the year thus far.

That was as fun a loss as I remember (if there ever was one). Never say never.

If only Cintron could have came up......lol argh.

I've never been prouder of my team.

Seriously, why did it take so long to start BA against a RHP?

2005 fever is back, that was the first "not bad loss" I think I've ever seen us have.

I'm positive that if Cintron got a chance, he'd have walked us off.

As predicted, Brian started it off with a 3 run homer.

They went down fighting till the end, can't ask for more than that! :gosox1:

Cause he's been awful all year?

I have to admit, I turned it off after the seventh did some stuff around the house and came back when it was 10-5, that was awesome to see.

I admit the only reason I kept it on was I wanted to see Tracey and Montero......and then I just left on the bottom of the 9th to be safe.

Wow lol.

Too bad Tracey couldn't hold 'em down. We'd still have a shot down 3 runs right now.

LOL. Looks like I was right. This loss falls squarely on Tracey. :)

Too bad we have two of the best players in baseball at that position ahead of him.

Bench Thome. Or Konerko!

Right, because starting Gload over Thome or Konerko is the only way to get him at bats. Gload's only had 39 at bats coming into tonight's game, and I believe that's fewer chances than the career .284 hitter deserves. There are some instances where Ozzie could have given Gload at bats, like pinch hitting for the dogs of the lineup late in the game.

I bet no one would guess that AJP and Anderson have the same amount of RBI. It would be great to use this game as a momentum-builder for this coming road trip. Against the offenses we'll be facing, we're going to need it.

Even though its a loss, we showed heart and have been playing like champs since the Detroit series.

I've never actually turned off a Sox game before it ended, which is weird with how pessimistic I am and how many times I threaten to turn it off. I'm sure glad I didn't start today.

That was heart, and even the outs recorded in the 9th were well hit.
