2-0 to the first 3 hitters. He can't continue that and have a successful day.

Alright, JG needs to throw strikes, but it does not look like the ump has been very consistent. Marshall got some pitches against Gooch that Garland hasnt gotten yet.

That being said, stop nibbling and f***ing attack the hitters

well if you are going to walk someone... Lee is the guy to walk.

nope.

Well on the good news front this sets up the double play.

Now Jon needs to throw strike one.

Bah...he walked him to get to Aramis....

ok ok so they got their one run.

Well it was a strike at least. sigh

Jon needs to get his control together in his next few starts. His problem is entirely on his inability to throw strike one and get ahead.

I am some kinda tired of that bloop s***.

SouthsideIrish, you're right. He needs to start getting ahead of these hitters and pounding the ball inside to the righties. They may get lucky and get some b**** bloop hits (i.e. Ramirez getting the RBI) but he's gotta establish the inside pitch and throw motherf***ing strikes.

C'mon and hold them, Jon.

That sucked, Great pitch by JG and what do you know, blooper base hit

Jones kills Judy.

Coop doesnt look happy....

Coops pitching theory is throw first pitch strike one.

Ozzie Guillen is going to the mound....this is a MAN THE f*** UP comment to Jon.

I absolutely f***ing hate Jon Garland. Go back to California, you f***ing burn out pot head.

Garland has let up 2 runs to the Cubs in the first inning.

Does anyone still want to argue that he'll come around some time?

WGN had him top out at 94... for the most part he has been throwing between 90-92 on his fastballs.

Jon borrowed a page otta Buehrle's 'get a 3 run lead and give it RIGHT back' book.

garbage

Fcukin bloopers have made for big innings of late and the trend continues

There will be plenty of people providing excuses for him later.

Can B-Mac be worse than this for a few starts? Garland just needs a kick in the ass to get going.

Our sinkerballer is leaving the ball up.

2-0 to Nevin.

He cannot get ahead of anyone.

Edited by southsideirish71

His ERA now at 5.93. That is awful for a contending team.
