Well, there was nothing wrong with giving Cliff a chance to prove that his poor pitching was due to not being healthy. That's obviously not the case.

Why not? It wouldn't take that much to get him. We need another quality arm. Montero? Please stop.

Uh, it would take a lot to get Hernandez. Do you know how many people want decent relief guys? People will be overpaying out the wazoo to get even mediocre relief.

CREDE!!!!

YEAHHHHHHHHHHH

Yay Joe

Man, this offense is something else.

A Crede fan caught the ball! lol

Too bad Crede couldnt have done that last inning. 13-9 now

The mop up guy is a bigger problem than 3 starters with ERAs above 4.50?

The mop up guy is a bigger problem than a starting CF hitting .170?

Not to me.

True. Although I can live with Anderson as long as he's playing gold-glove caliber defense. But Politte is definitely a big problem.

And thanks to Politte's poor pitching we're behind 4 runs opposed to 2.

Did you see the woman who caught it?

Did anyone see the really hot girl in the outfield with the white tank top and black hair?

1 more run and dempster comes out, i like our chances!

Thanks for giving up the extra two runs, Cliff....making the mountain that much higher....

JOE CREDE!!!! :notworthy

I wish Buehrle was able to "keep us in this game." 9 runs should be plenty against any team.

Oh But the Flammable Cliff Politte is not a problem.

I don't think so. The guy is 42 years old. Nobody is gonna empty out their farm for him. If Kenny really wants him, he can have him.

She had a Crede sign... awesome

He just had a bad game. It happens.

That was pretty big of that cubs fan to give the ball to the women with the crede sign.

You'll see.

Man, if you had told me we would have 9 runs by the 8th inning and we'd still be down by 4. :crying

IMO we need either a RH setup man or a CF. It's pretty obvious none of our starters are going anywhere, especially with their salaries, plus I'm fairly confident they will turn it around in the 2nd half. We all know how aggressive KW is, so i expext to see some sort of move before the deadline
