July 12, 200619 yr QUOTE(Milkman delivers @ Jul 11, 2006 -> 08:45 PM) Did you all enjoy the All-David Wright Game? They couldn't have blown him more that game if they tried. I believe they interviewed him, his relatives, or other players (who were asked about him) just about every single inning, along with talking about him every half inning. he's from new york and the mets are in 1st. are you surprised???
July 12, 200619 yr The AL was flat out lucky, thats all I gotta say. Just like the AL has been lucky in the past 10 games, right? It's not luck when you don't give up and make things happen. Paulie's hit was huge as were the two that followed. Paulie could have popped up or tapped to the pitcher like the two guys before him did. He didn't. Way to go Paulie! Go Ozzieball, AL wins.
July 12, 200619 yr Carlos Zambrano: Sox and AL coach Joey Cora accidentally hit Zambrano in his throwing elbow with a fungo bat before the game. X-rays were negative, but Zambrano was ruled out of the game.
July 12, 200619 yr So Pauly is one of only 2 players with a multi-hit All-Star game...and to think he didn't even start..
July 12, 200619 yr QUOTE(The-Legend-Of-Pujols @ Jul 11, 2006 -> 10:48 PM) The AL was flat out lucky, thats all I gotta say. Just like the AL was lucky all through interleague play .... and last year's World series .... and last year's ASG .... and the year before that ... etc.
July 12, 200619 yr Author QUOTE(The-Legend-Of-Pujols @ Jul 11, 2006 -> 11:48 PM) The AL was flat out lucky, thats all I gotta say. Michael Young was stealing signs.
