July 11, 200619 yr Let's go Ozzie, AJ, Thome, Kong, Dye, Buehrle, Contreras & Jenks! Win homefield for the Sox for the World Series!
July 11, 200619 yr My Prediction for the 2006 WS, Chicago White Sox VS. Cincinnati Reds. Rematch of the 1919WS, no alleged fixing this time.
July 11, 200619 yr QUOTE(beautox @ Jul 11, 2006 -> 05:51 PM) My Prediction for the 2006 WS, Chicago White Sox VS. Cincinnati Reds. Rematch of the 1919WS, no alleged fixing this time. I doubt they make the playoffs with the pitching they've got, but they won't get past good pitching teams in the playoffs.
July 11, 200619 yr AJ WILL play. Buehrle will get the victory. Jenks the hold. Thome the winning hit. Dye the winning run. I'm pulling all of this out of my ass. Let's go Oz.
July 11, 200619 yr QUOTE(Gregory Pratt @ Jul 11, 2006 -> 06:06 PM) I doubt they make the playoffs with the pitching they've got, but they won't get past good pitching teams in the playoffs. , the NL is weak they have the best offense in the NL and second only the white/red sox, they could definatly make it in the post season.
July 12, 200619 yr Imagine trading Freddy Sanchez, a short stop, a position that many Red Sox fans want an upgrade at, for Jeff Suppan. ...or Edgar Renteria, Nomar Garciaparra, and David Eckstein. It's kind of comical to think about. Edited July 12, 200619 yr by redandwhite
July 12, 200619 yr Who's idea was it to let Joe Buck do the starting lineups? At least Gene got to do it when it was at Comiskey.
July 12, 200619 yr QUOTE(Buehrle>Wood @ Jul 11, 2006 -> 07:22 PM) Was it just me or did Ozzie just get booed during the announcements? lol it was like 60% cheer 40% jeer.
July 12, 200619 yr QUOTE(Jordan4life_2006 @ Jul 11, 2006 -> 06:48 PM) AL by atleast 8 runs tonight. Personally, I'm not so confident. I realize the American League has won seven straight decisions, but as with any single game played during the regular season, anything can happen. Rogers and Buehrle are honestly the only two pitchers who worry me. If Guillen can manage around these two, the rest should fall in.
July 12, 200619 yr QUOTE(beautox @ Jul 11, 2006 -> 06:51 PM) , the NL is weak they have the best offense in the NL and second only the white/red sox, they could definatly make it in the post season. slugging your way through the playoffs doesn't work very well very often. They won't make the playoffs.
July 12, 200619 yr Fox whoring itself again. Nothing new there. I'm sure there's a new upcoming series which we'll have the honor of seeing several hundred times during the commerical break.
July 12, 200619 yr lol, do you think they'll find Bernie Mac or the voice of moe from the simpsons in the crowd?
July 12, 200619 yr QUOTE(Flash Tizzle @ Jul 11, 2006 -> 07:38 PM) /chatroom Let's all cheer on Liriano. This will be the downfall of Liriano. He will be rocked on a national stage and never pitch the same again. *BigSqwert then wakes up*
