I miss the old Mark Buehrle so much. :'( He was my favorite pitcher since 2003.

Shaping up to be a Buehrle inning.

ok, that's a glimmer of old MB, let's keep that rolling

Nice double play.

Buehrle's toast.

*prepares a crow sandwich* :)

That will work! Bad base running cost them a run, but it will definitely help. I liked the way that Alomar went inside there.

I guess that's why they call it a pitcher's best friend

For a moment Gameday posted that as in play, no outs recorded, and i'm wondering how the hell we kept the guy at 3rd.

Christ Buehrle....

Yanks up 4-1 now

I would happily eat it to be proven wrong. But...

I think Buerhle being behind every hitter is a bad sign of things to come. Hopefully he'll start getting ahead of the hitters or he's going to get ripped.

We're going to need 6 or 7 runs to win this game.

Iguchi down swinging.

god that was an ugly 3rd strike for gooch

Hawk again bringing up how Iguchi had that ball go under his glove. I think that Hawk should let that go, maybe it's a play he had a chance to make, but it was a tough play

Odalis Perez was a Soxtalk favorite a couple of years ago. He's not having any trouble with the top of the Sox order yet.

Dye down looking, these guys need to get him early in the count it seems.

I love how the National League has had no problem with Perez, but when he faces our ballclub, suddenly it's 2003 again.

That was a tough play, and it would be nice if one of the starters in the best rotation ever assembled would pick him up.

The only other pitcher to make Dye look this bad this season has been Padilla.

And here comes the umpire complaining.

The problem with Sox hitters going after Perez is that he's been wild both in and out of the strike zone. I think if they were more aggressive, there would be more swings and misses. I want them to be more patient and let Perez walk more batters.

Why do we hear about the umpire's strike zone every damn game? Does Hawk think the Sox pitchers never get a borderline call?

Perez looks much tougher to hit tonight than Buehrle does. That cutter has been rather impressive.
