And that should be game.

The ball that bounces in, is not the one you swing at Joe.

Nice job by the O and D and Ozzie tonight. Another game dropped to a crappy Royals team.

And the Red Sox and Yankees keep winning. Why can't they play each other 15 times the rest of the year?

Hurry up BMac, HURRY. UP.

Those 2 runs we gave up in the 7th really hurt us.

Let me analyze this statement.

Ya think???

But Garcia had a chance for the win, and that's all that really matters, no?

Ozzie loves giving his starters the opportunity to win the game. One day he might try and get the team the win.

Wait, why did Kane get his theme song put on two WWF theme CDs? Three and Five? Seems completely wasteful, considering it didn't even change at all.

That Abreu move doesn't scare me in the least. 6th best OBP in baseball? That's weak and will never help them.

Nice series win. We took two out of three at Baltimore, now two out of three against KC. That's two series wins in a row. If we just keep winning series, blah blah blah.....

Take away the green and thats a very true statement.

considering where we started at the roadtrip its better than nothing

too bad we don't gain ground on the tigers

Lets walk the crappy fast hitter.

KC fans suck. "We want donuts?"

I bet a Royals fan is more satisfied with losing and getting 13 hits in a game than winning a game.

It's just frustrating because against a team like KC, if you can keep it to a one or two run game late, you have an excellent chance at coming back and tying/winning. That inning reminded me of the Vazquez terrible 7th inning at Tampa earlier in the year.

that's completely unacceptable, not only is he not a good hitter, but with the rain a comin' you can't walk that guy, let him put it in play

Ozzie blew this game, I'm sick and tired of watching him leave our guys in there. I've said it before and I'll say it again, as a manager you're supposed to know what your players are capable of doing and are not capable of doing. Last year, yeah he could have left Freddy in there, this year it is foolish to even consider it.

Here we are August 2nd, and he has yet to figure it out. Unreal.

Wake up Ozzie, or we won't be playing in the post-season.

I'm so glad Kenny made sure to have Garcia and Vazquez starting 2 out of every 5 days. Just a matter of time before these guys turn it on!

lame how the crowd cheers the rain

Haha, I love the cheers of the fans.

Poor Gathright...goes to show you that Mother Nature can slow down anyone.

Pierzynski throws out Gathright OMG

Nice job AJ.

Let's just play through this spiff

Bad execution by Brandon McCarthy there, walking a .200 hitter.

Pierzynski bails him out by throwing out the runner.

AJ threw someone out! With this wind!

Well, we're supposed to be one of the best teams in baseball. If we want to go to the postseason, then we'll have to beat up on the bad teams. This will be, what, our 5th loss to KC this year? We're trying to keep up with the likes of the Yankees and Red Sox. This spiffty play against bad teams (especially when we lose to the good teams) won't work.

Wait, will Low-Jac still make the donation even if the game is called and goes back to 7 1/2 innings?

Ugh, maybe Im confused. Will it end at bottom of the 7th with 1 out? Or middle 7? I need to read the rulebook.
