I also never said he was currently hurting enough to not play, I just said he hasn't been the same since the injury, and he hasn't. Maybe he changed something to try and avoid another groin injury, and hasn't been able to get back to his old self. I don't know, but he sucks at stealing bases now (for a leadoff hitter).
