Hey, Shiano (sp?) has done a great job up there, saying that Rutgers was a complet laughingstock until last year. If Miami comes to their senses and gets rid of Coker, he might be my first choice.

They just said on PTI that Steve Mariuchi is no longer a candidate for the vacant MSU job.

 

I don't understand how they let him get away. Who are they going to get who's better than Mooch?

It's not about that. They have to keep the MSU tradition of coaches who will recruit awesome, and then coach like crap, get nothing out of great talent, and lose all big games, many in which they have a late lead. They don't think Mooch could meet those lofty expectations I guess.

How is MSU not going to offer Maruichi the coaching job? I thought 100% he would be the next coach.

That Rutgers coach will have his pick of major division 1 openings after this year.

zook was terrible today.

1) completely gave that game away, we had a very solid second half and then completely forgot how to play football after halftime. Seriously, hold on to the god damn ball.

 

2) and good lord zook are you kidding me? Who doesn't kick the field goal there? and then to waste a timeout for it?

 

3) juice really needs to run to the outside more if that's what the D is going to give him. On that last drive, he had more than a few chances to run for a first down and opted to pass it instead. I understand he's a freshmen and he's going to learn from these mistakes, but still frusterating none the less.

I love UF's kicker! 2 for 9 on the year and he missed another one so far today.
