Nicely pitched by Garland.

Lets hope our s***ty offense can get something going for him

I say we do something drastic to try and win this game. Gload in LF, BA in CF, Fields at 3B and Crede at SS.

Anyone have a stat about what's Thome's batting average in games that we lose?

I'd be fine if we had someone besides Pods leading off

Real tough outs were our 3-4-5 that inning.

get em on, over and in ... replaced by get em swinging, grounding and popping out

How predictable is this?

First inning we blew our opportunity.

I love Dye, but bad at bat.

I love Thome but bad at bat, whacking it too foul.

We are a suckass team. Hope the magic returns next year.

game does not look good

Should Boston win, we are pissing away a gift.

I love home runs, but we've got to change our approach next year.

This game's about to be over. Leyland is managing a superb game tonight...you can tell that the Tigers have so much more fun out on the field than our guys do.

Oh great, a hit and run.

the most amazing aspect of this ballclub is that NOBODY ever seems to show frustration over performance other than AJ & MB....

i said before that Frank Thomas & Aaron Rowand were the heart & soul of our ballclub...but after a couple of days I would rather say that they were the "will to win" to the team...

is it just me or is JThome not coming up clutch in key situations? he is having a good stat year but i cant remember the last time he came thru in a pressure at bat...

Can Garland just never throw his changeup again? It's probably his 20th worst pitch...and he only throws 3 pitches.

I love Thome but he has not come up in a big situation since opening night it seems.

That's why they are going playoff hunting and we ain't.

They face a tough pitcher and take what they can get.

We lead the league in homers. Doesn't mean much rite now.

Give it a rest. We aren't losing because we let go of Rowand and Frank. Our starting pitching hasn't been there, our leadoff man hasn't done anything, and we have a manager who makes no adjustments.

They make me sick!

More like since the homer against Santana in the game that we won.

Season.

This inning they are hitting it where it's pitched. Hit and run. Sac fly.

THey execute. If we try that s***, we fail at it.
