... Like we haven't heard that statement a few times in our lifetime too.

They've sure been swinging a magical stick late in games lately.

he hit .260 in the minor and now he is hitting .400 for the Cubs. Reality will being him back. Remember when Uribe hit .360 in this first month with the White Sox.

I can't believe neither Weeks or Fielder dove for that weak grounder Fontenot hit in the 9th. Get your jersey dirty, boys. Who knows if it would of mattered.

Why were they holding the runner on?

They weren't Fielder was playing No Double Cheeseburgers depth.

The Brewers looked a-lot like the White Sox today. Completely shut down after scoring early.

There were a couple of managerial moves that were odd.

They were holding the runner on. Why, I am not sure. If they weren't Fielder would have had a play. Oh well, they are still 6.5 out of first. That's alot of ground yet to make up.

Brian Fuentes with a tough 10 days.

The Dodgers have already stolen 4 bases off Chris Young/Michael Barrett through 3 innings.

Mercy. Not that anyone cares about my fantasy team, but I am really taking notice after trading for him about two weeks ago. It's amazing.

Someone dropped him so I added him. I imagine he'll bounce back. Just picked him up today, so his bad game today doesn't register for me. Hope he straightens himself up soon, though.

Sean Marshall just walked Kevin Mench :o

Ryan Dempster sounds almost exactly like Will Ferrell.

The Cubs deal with the devil appears to have run out today, and there is no Big Z to save them and win the series tomorrow. Oops.

What you you do in my shoes, guys. Bench Fuentes tonight or take the risk that he blows it again? I think I want to have faith in my players.

You pick option C and draft Francisco Cordero, J.J. Putz, and Kevin Gregg before the season in all 4 of your yahoo leagues like I did :).

Haha. Gregg is available.

My closers are fine, but I've added Fuentes because he's good and I think he'll recover.

I don't think Kevin Gregg was a closer option at the beginning of the year. 3 guys had to go down for him to get the spot.

Lincecum has 9 strikeouts in 4 innings.

He might be good, that's all I'm saying.

Ha. I benched him because I didn't want to risk my ERA and WHIP lead, and I needed 18 K's to catch up to the person who starts about 10 different starters a week.

I benched him in a roto league. I said, I want to see 2 consecutive good starts... Yeah, well, I've seen 'em. And man, am I pissed.

We'll be lucky if the Cubs lose more than one game this week. It was amazing at work today....you would have thought they clinched the NL pennant or something.

At this rate, the Cards will pass the Cubs for 2nd by the All-Star game.

Carlos Marmol has been doing his best K-Rod impersonation lately. This Cubs team is pretty damn good right now.
