Geez no kidding.

Well, Aardsma is 6'4". It's not like he's standing next to Mackowiak or something but yeah he looks a lot closer to 5'9".

A few minutes worth of work and I get a real height for Gio. Somewhere between 5'8" and 5'9" but closer to 5'9".

I'd believe 5'9-5'10, but not because of the picture.

-Aardsma is striding off the ground

-Gonzalez is bent slightly

-Gonzalez is probably a foot, foot and a half behind Aarsdma. They can't be judged on an equal plane.

Even with this, you're fairly close to the true height.

Yeah, it's not exactly scientific.

If he's popping his fastball consistently at 91-93 and still has that nasty hook that I saw in his scouting video, I don't care if he's 5'1.

Neither do I. This is merely my way of having something to complain about prior to the season.

I wouldn't want it any other way... :D

I love the Ozzie picture, he looks like he is praying to Santa Maria already.

Nice sideburns Mr. Uribe.

Nope, only the frameless ones.

Kalapse, are you able to get the high res pictures that are using something like this?

http://images.sportsline.com/b/ap/photos/W...24576_lower.jpg

No, if it has a black border you can't convert it, you have to wait until they release the borderlees pics like they just did with Iguchi and like they should be doing soon with the Uribe/Ozzie pics.

Thats what i figured but thought maybe it had changed since i last tried one of those.

I bought one of those a few months back. It has been one of the better investments i've made lately.

Buehrle looks great...

Wait for that pic.
