I don't know if he played at all with the big club, but yes, we had him last year and he played the entire minor league season down in Kanny, IIRC.

 

Orlando is very very fast, but Gomes is the better of the Brazilian prospects this system has.

 

I could swear he played a couple games on TV, I recall Hawk or DJ talking about how fast he was and indeed he is. Saw him rounding third base and the kid was flying.

Yeah he's ceretainly got some wheels.

 

I don't think he showed any plate discipline whatsover last season though down at Kanny, which he is really going to have to improve on.
