April 18, 200719 yr I don't know if this might seem kind of morbid, but you can't help thinking about things after an event like VaTech. I am curious what other people here would say though... If you were to be gone from here tomorrow, what would you want people to remember you for?

April 18, 200719 yr Too early in my life to answer that question. I have goals that I hope to achieve. But if I died tomorrow, I'd hope that my family knew that they meant everything to me.
April 18, 200719 yr Kids like me, adults respect me, and I left the earth a little better than I found it. And for being the world's oldest living person.
April 18, 200719 yr Author QUOTE(Texsox @ Apr 18, 2007 -> 02:51 PM) And for being the world's oldest living person. Well you got one thing checked off your list
April 18, 200719 yr QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Apr 18, 2007 -> 02:52 PM) Well you got one thing checked off your list I figured that would be easier than Asshat trying to pass your post count
April 18, 200719 yr When I'm gone I'd like to have been remembered for being a die hard sports fan, but most importantly making a difference in people's lives for the better, being a kind person and helping out people.
April 18, 200719 yr When I'm gone, instead of having a funeral I want my family to all watch a Sox game (if its during the season) or a Bears game in memory of me. As far as being remembered, I just want to be remembered as a good person, a good father (in time), a loving husband (in time), and a great friend.
April 18, 200719 yr Basically just as someone who would do anything for his family and friends. And to a lesser extent the guy who goes on hilarious rampages when angry.
April 18, 200719 yr Honestly, I'd rather just be forgotten. ...which will be NO PROBLEM around here...
April 19, 200719 yr QUOTE(The Critic @ Apr 18, 2007 -> 04:02 PM) Honestly, I'd rather just be forgotten. ...which will be NO PROBLEM around here... Hey, Critic's back!!! How long have you been gone?
April 19, 200719 yr Author QUOTE(CanOfCorn @ Apr 19, 2007 -> 11:54 AM) Hey, Critic's back!!! How long have you been gone? Who? Never heard of him.
April 19, 200719 yr It's as if I already died and I'm looking down (or up....probably up....definitely up) at the many, many loved ones I've left behind.
April 20, 200719 yr I'd LIKE to be remembered for leaving three prints in the sand when I strolled naked on the beach, and, though I lacked the ability to play guitar, I knew how to do the Pete Townsend windmill just in case I ever learned.
