Good news -- Cheat said the Sox signed two draft-and-follows today. One of the guys they signed got fifth round money. I think he provided a Baseball America link...

Pre-2005 Crede has returned. Good luck getting him the big bucks Bora$$.

Lead off double for Gooch... get him in.

Holy cow, I didn't know walk was in Terrero's vocabulary. Might we see a squeeze here?

lets see Erstad grind out a sac fly

Thank you Pena.

Is that Angel Berroa out there? Get Terrero home.

Could be the key AB of the game right here.

Was it an easy double play ball?

Looked like it. But you know Grinder would have hustled to first safe :P

The outfielders started running for the dugout when it came off the bat.

Well luck's a fortune. Could break the game wide open here.

What a dumbass idea by Ozuna. In that situation, you have to swing the freaking bat, especially if you have good speed.

Lets Go JD start hitting !

That's two bunts in a row into the air by Ozuna.

However, the Royals should be out of the inning. For what it's worth, the Oakland A's have won 27 of their last 34 games played in KC.

Terraro was walkless in AAA, and he explodes with walks tonight. Again, Ozzie is punching Sweeney's ticket back to Charlotte as we speak.

Gordon almost f***ed up there. Royals get out of the inning, Sox 2 - 0.

He has to play Terrero sometimes. Actually, you could argue he should be platooning with Erstad, as Darin is batting about .100 against lefties this year.

Right now, Dye's either hitting grounders to the left side or fly balls to the right side. We need him to get that reversed. It's too bad we couldn't get Terrero in with our best contact guy up against LHP.

We suck. Hard.

DJ: "The Sox take advantage and get an unearned run."

No, taking advantage would have meant getting Terrero home with less than two outs. We just wasted an opportunity when KC was trying to hand the game over on a plate.

Coming into tonight's game Dead was 1-9 against Perez with a solo homer and 7 k's.

Yeesh

Let's hope that doesn't come back to bite us.

It's around this time in the game in recent year where the Royals seem like the '27 Yankees.

I am waiting for Dye to trip over his own feet coming out of the box next.

Nice play by Kong.
