Has there ever been a team built on defense only? I'd like to see their team hitting stats.

We're fine folks...just ride it out. Javy has navigated through the first 4...now we will blowup.

If by "blow up", you mean break up the no-hitter, I think you are probably right. We can scratch out one hit today.

Sweeney just was frozen on that curve. It happens. That's two called strikes in a row against Ryan.

His splits were appreciably better against lefties than righties at Charlotte.

If by appreciably, you mean insignificant thanks to small sample size, than yeah.

And we just did. The flood gates are about to open.

1906 White Sox

Well, he can't hit into a DP at least. What are the odds on a shoulder shrug?

If Crede hits into a DP or short outfield pop to RF!!!!!!!

It's pretty sad that Uribe, Erstad, and Sweeney are probably the best hitters on the team right now.

Allowing the pitchers to hit next weekend may improve the offense. Too bad the Cubs are throwing 2 lefties at us.

Oh boy, Juanny looking a bit sluggish chugging around second there...

Walking PK to load em up with 1 out...

Hey, some of them looked better than our position players during bp yesterday

I thought it's Lilly, Marquis and fatass Zambrano.

This the hot streak Juan has only seen in his dreams. He is not prepared to run the bases this much. :P

Crede pops up

Were you really expecting anything better?

CREDE WALKS

SOX TIED! SOX TIED! SOX TIED!

Jesus, thank you for the Kansas City Royals.

Good job by Crede...even though that 2-2 was a strike.

Crede walked with the bases loaded.

Hey, that RBI counts the same as a solo homer when opposing GM's come calling...

It'd be nice to see Sweeney up with the bases loaded. That being said, Gooch will ground into a DP.

Even though he walked, did Crede still somehow find a way to pop out?

We must lead the league in bases loaded walks this year.

Good grief, get him out of the freaking lineup. He has to be one of the worst overall players in baseball this year.

Or strikeouts.

Talk about an absolutely useless guy in the lineup right now..

Good god.

I don't think Iguchi is worth the $5mil he will ask for after the season.

I really wish Ozuna was at 2B and Toby Hall was DHing instead of homering for Charlotte.

Rogowski and his .151 average would fit in perfectly...let's call him up.
