September 25, 201114 yr Jones' strength, height and reach are such huge obstacles to overcome for whoever fights him. You just cannot get close to him to get anything done. Not to mention that his ground and pound game is just utter destruction with those elbows.
September 25, 201114 yr I know its early in his career but after the Evans fight, there is no fights at 205 worth having for Jones unless Silva moves up. Would love to see Jones as a heavyweight.

November 13, 201114 yr The disaster wasnt that the fight was 30 seconds. the disaster was the decision to air only that fight, and none of the undercard. Fox had Cops on before the fight, they couldnt bump that and go live for 2 hours and show 3 fights? GMAB And Fox, spare me the explanation of what MMA fighting is
November 13, 201114 yr over 30 minutes of hype and just over a minute of a fight. I think it was a failure for FOX/UFC in trying to get casual fans. I just dont understand when fighters dont fight to their strengths. If Cain gets KOed because he cant get the TD or gets KOed while fighting for the TD then fine. But to just stand there and not attempt to get the fight to the ground against the most dangerous striker in the heavyweight division is just stupid. I was too slow on pulling the trigger on JDS today. I saw him around +140 earlier and was hoping it would climb closer to fight time. But of course my plan backfired and I only got him at +105.

Once GSP gets tagged a couple of times, he will fight scared and take Diaz down and hold him there for 25 minutes. Matt Serra made GSP into a real boring and safe fighter. I'm not saying GSP should fight stupid but there is a reason why the only person he's stopped in 3 years is Penn and Penn is much smaller than GSP. And really, that fight would have gone the distance if Penn's brother didnt throw in the towel.

Regardless, what you said was misleading to the average fan, as you didn't specify which it was and the term is much more commonly associated with a kick. If this were a boxing match you would be well understood instead of vague and confusing regarding the type of strike thrown. Part of me wonders if you are just hoping for a response like mine so you have a chance to be a smart ass in a vain effort to sound knowledgable. November 20, 201114 yr Hoping for henderson to take the bout tonight and get a title shot afterward. I find the fight tough to predict but I would say a KO by henderson or a decision by rua both seem to be likely outcomes.

I heard a few people last night saying that it is the best fight ever. I'm not a huge MMA fan, but I'm sure there had to be fights where it went 5 rounds with each fighter on top of his game, striking and countering, landing shots and breaking holds. I would think that a fight like that would be a "better" fight.
