Coming in to work today was a complete waste of time.

Almost no one here, nothing to do except useless "mid-year reviews".

And since I have to take the train to my wife's job to pick up the kid, then take two trains back to my car and slog home through the snow, I should enjoy a fabulous 3-hour commute home.

Dubuque is under at least 34 feet of snow. As is the rest of the NE part of the state.

Well they made it. Must have used the snow plow I bought her for Christmas if the place is under 34' of snow!

I have friends who came from ACL tears and played ball like nothing ever happened. No clue how they did it. I have awful knees and ankles and am tentative with those. Guess I am mentally weak.

This time of year is really the bludgiest of all year, when it comes to work.
