So, if it's nowhere near the lottery, you think they'll go deep into the playoffs then?

Well, they won't miss the playoffs, and depending on matchups could easily get bumped in the 2nd round again...

It's becoming clear the Bulls quit on Skiles, even in defeat today you can see for the first time all year they actually care. I could see them making the playoffs, but they'll have to get to either 4 or 5 if they want any shot at not being a first round exit. The Bulls would be destroyed in a 7 game series against Orlando, Boston, or Detroit (yes I know we kill them in the regular season, but as you saw in last years playoffs, that doesn't matter).

Big win for us though. Jameer Nelson coming back and actually looking good for the 1st time in a month.

If the Bulls play like that all season though, they'll sneak into the playoffs.

it's about time the slumping Jazz did something by ending the Blazers 13 game winning streak. the Jazz have blown so many 4th quarter leads it seems.

Dude, the Bulls' draft pick is going to be no where NEAR the lottery let alone high enough to get Gordon. Their pick more than likely will wind up in the 18-22 range.

Well, it kind of depends on what stretch you give creedence too, the miserable play for most of the first two months makes them look like they end up in the low lottery, or the last 3 games makes them look like a 4-6 seed in the East. I tend to lean a bit towards the latter given their history, though probably closer to 6. They still need to keep this up for a while to solidify their position, as they're still stuck in the jumbled mess that is the lower half of the Eastern Conference.

I do agree though, there's no sense in looking at minimally the top 6 or so prospects in the draft since even if they do miss they're going to be one of the lower teams in the lottery. Even right now they'd be somewhere between 8th and 10th in the lottery, and they're a lot more likely to gain ground than Sacramento or Charlotte.

Yeah, and no where NEAR Eric Gordon, lol.

Well, yeah, Eric Gordon falls in that top grouping that the Bulls can't touch, behind Michael Beasley, Derek Rose, and DeAndre Jordan and ahead of OJ Mayo and Donte Green. Chase Budinger, Brook Lopez, and Darell Arthur are also probably going to go to high for them to even consider as well, though after that who knows.

so...bulls under new coach are looking good. Now our bench is an asset again with gordon off of it.

Noah looking real good this 4th quarter

BTW, since we're not using Tyrus can we just trade him already?

Losing by 1 at home to New Jersey blowing a 12 point 4thQ lead.

I hope SVG is livid right now. Not much excuse for that at home, against a team you really should beat.

I agree, this is getting ridiculous. Tyrus is about to = Marcus Fizer.

I wouldn't go THAT far. Even if he rides the bench/sucks for the rest of this year and next someone will take him because he is a good athlete and they'll just think he needs another chance. If teams still wanted Kwame Brown and Darko Milicic after 4 years, you can still unload Tyrus on someone. The value will be reduced, but not totally gone. He's a much better athlete than Fizer, and there were some injury problems that took him from a reasonably productive 12-6 type player to a D-League player as well (started with an ACL, pretty sure there were other more minor ones).

I suspect that Boylan is trying to send a message to TT. Let's give the guy a chance and see what happens.

Going to my first game tonight. Free is a good price.

I'm excited to see Portland in person as well.

Nate McMillan should be up there for coach of the year ATM.

They're playing fantastically defensively, and they'll be even better defensively next season with Oden manning the middle.

Brandon Roy has quickly turned into a stud as well.

WHY WAS THAT A SHOT GORDON?

I dont know what filter TNT uses for their cameras at basketball games, but the games always seem to "glow"(for lack of a better word) compared to the dismal basement like feeling that comcast gives you. Its hard to explain, games just look better.

Good defense by the Bulls to close out the final possession of the first overtime.

I love watching games in HD from the United Center. Nice and bright and clear. Depends on some of the arenas and how they are lit, I think.

The Bulls and Blazers look exhausted out there

4th game in 5 days for the Bulls. Think Portland is finishing up a long road trip as well.

Joe Smith has been solid.

And Ben Gordon strikes again

In the clutch, let's stop having Gordon dribble. Let's run him off screens. He constantly turns the ball over in the clutch.

If I could simultaneously punch Nocioni and Gordon, I'd do it in a f***ing instant. Those 2 morons cost us the f***ing game. I can't even express how pissed I am following this game. I screamed my lungs off in disgust following Gordon's 2nd blown OT game in 4 days. The guy is a f***ing meathead in the clutch. Just terrible.

My blood pressure isn't very good right now. I'm literally shaking I'm so f***ing pissed.
