November 30, 200817 yr QUOTE (whitesoxbrian @ Nov 30, 2008 -> 04:22 PM) JP Losman sucks. Is Edwards hurt, or just ineffective?
November 30, 200817 yr QUOTE (knightni @ Nov 30, 2008 -> 04:23 PM) Is Edwards hurt, or just ineffective? Hurt, he pulled a Jerry Owens. I mean a groin.
November 30, 200817 yr That's the last time that I trust an Englishman with NFL advice. I started him over Eli.
November 30, 200817 yr QUOTE (knightni @ Nov 30, 2008 -> 03:39 PM) That's the last time that I trust an Englishman with NFL advice. I started him over Eli. You should quit your fantasy football team after that boneheaded move
November 30, 200817 yr QUOTE (kyyle23 @ Nov 30, 2008 -> 04:40 PM) You should quit your fantasy football team after that boneheaded move Both my teams have already quit on me. Bulger, Burress, Steven Jackson, McGahee, Felix Jones, Roy Williams...
November 30, 200817 yr QUOTE (knightni @ Nov 30, 2008 -> 03:23 PM) Is Edwards hurt, or just ineffective? Both (but really, he was pulled with a groin this game).
December 1, 200817 yr Denver has been one of the bigger Jekyll and Hyde teams this year. Sometimes they are just awesome, like today. Other days they are just mediocre to bad. I never really expected that from Shanahan, he usually is consistently good.
December 1, 200817 yr QUOTE (rangercal @ Nov 23, 2008 -> 11:16 PM) no it's not. As of now, with 4 weeks left in the season, the NFC east has 1 playoff team and the NFC south has 3. It could still obviously change, and the east still has the best team in football, but the south is a better division top to bottom right now. QUOTE (kyyle23 @ Nov 30, 2008 -> 06:03 PM) Denver has been one of the bigger Jekyll and Hyde teams this year. Sometimes they are just awesome, like today. Other days they are just mediocre to bad. I never really expected that from Shanahan, he usually is consistently good. They have some great wins and also some horrible losses. Just seem like a classic "plays up/down to their level of competition" team. Their running system is amazing though, they started Felix and DMC's fullback from Arkansas today and he ran for over 100 yards. Edited December 1, 200817 yr by whitesoxfan101
December 1, 200817 yr Good to see Hester catch a long touchdown pass. Also, is it just me or do the Bears ALWAYS seem to start the game by throwing 3 passes in a row or 4 passes out of 5 or something like that? Ron Turner always thinks he's tricky, but I think the bet way for him to trick a defense is to come out and run it based on his past early game patterns.
December 1, 200817 yr Hester had a nice TD, but I hate seeing him being the focal point of the offense. His route running is terrible, and it's almost resulted in 2 picks against Orton in that first quarter.
December 1, 200817 yr Ron Turner in rare form tonight as he continues to run it up the middle even though the Williams brothers swallow it up every time. Got bailed out by a personal foul there though. EDIT: FINALLY a run outside, and Forte goes about 25 yards. AMAZING how that works. Edited December 1, 200817 yr by whitesoxfan101
December 1, 200817 yr Bears defense = fail Nice 14 point swing. Edited December 1, 200817 yr by StrangeSox
December 1, 200817 yr i just thought to myself "this is where Brett Favre used to throw a bomb backed up in the endzone"
December 1, 200817 yr As much as I hate Turner, Forte's effort on that 4th down was horrific. He didn't follow his blockers, and cut it towards the middle instead of diving for the end zone.
December 1, 200817 yr QUOTE (fathom @ Nov 30, 2008 -> 08:34 PM) The Bears deserve that. This coaching staff can't be fired soon enough. They aren't going anywhere for a while and neither is Angelo. The Bears would never pay the price of firing those people, so get used to it. That was a shockingly pathetic turn of events, I haven't seen the Bears give up a 99 yard TD since Robert Brooks back when I was a little kid.
