Did more than just kick it, threw it around got tired of that one and went and got the other cooler and slammed that one on the ground a few times. can only blame the defense so much until you give up a 415 ft home run

He has the "Hey, look at me!" attitude.

Wainwright hurt his finger tonight. Let's hope it's not like what Ben Sheets had.

I can't wait for the day that Zambrano suffers a season-ending injury due to his stupid antics.

That line drive off the bat of Ethier has "broken eye socket" written all over it, except that emotional douche caught it.

chipper getting injured and missing at least 1 games, 1 against the cubs..

they always seem to dodge bullets somehow

What is the over/under on Chipper Jones getting hurt before next week when the Braves come to town and if he does play, chances he goes 1-12....see Lance Berkman when the cub played Houston.

Great prediction....ugh!

I've come to the conclusion that the Cubs will finish with a home record of 73-8. They've got some kinda magic going in that toilet bowl this year.

How many lineouts can the Braves have in one game? I also can't believe the Braves signed Glavine. Did they really think he had anything left in the tank?

Way to use Chipper in a situation where they can pitch around him.

If I'd asked you last October which pitcher had more left...Mussina or Glavine...your answer would have been?

Neither....I haven't been impressed by Glavine in years, to be honest.

And what do you know, another liner by the Braves.

I know you're upset because Glavine committed the grave crime of giving up runs to the Cubs, but Glavine quite clearly has something left in the tank. He's had some pretty good starts with a few bad ones. It happens.

He's averaging less than 5 innings a start now and his WHIP is in the 1.55 range. I think the Braves at least signed him for a good contract.

Anyone know how serious the Pujols injury is from tonight? Cardinals just being decimated with injuries, especially with their ace out now also.

I'll bet you were ecstatic when he beat the Cubs for his 300th win.

Checking the Cubs on GameDay :P

The Cubs will have 43 wins by the time this series is over, and probably around 60 when the ASB comes. JOY!

Really bad managing by Piniella in letting Howry stay in to face the lefty McCann. Eyre definitely should have been in. Braves need one more hit to tie this up.

I wanted to complain about the umpire....but then I found out it was Doug Eddings.

Wow, Cubs get 4 gift runs after Acosta drops a grounder right back to him. At least Hudson is going on Thursday.

BBTN reported it was probably just re-strained the calf that gave him some problems earlier this season, but no word on to how long he could be out.

But so is Zambrano.
