Surely Quentin's in the lineup as a permanent fixture now.

And perfect start with Willis being injured and us getting into that pen nice and early.

Cabrera with about 4 great pitches to hit, but couldn't square one up. Lopez is tiring already.

quentin =

Imagine how good we'd be if we had any production out of the 2 and 3 hole.

I wonder if Ozzie tries Quentin lead off more often.

Hey Jerry Owens, yeah, we kinda don't need you anymore...

He better be. Enjoy AAA Jerry. It's where you belong anyway.

Nothing against Quentin, but I really hope Anderson makes the decision hard on everyone.

That pitch was absolutely hammered there.

The great thing about a balanced attack like the one we're trotting out right now is...Jim Thome is not going to hit .150 and put up a .311 OPS at home this year. He's just not going to. Cabrera is not going to be bad all year. They may take a step back, but these guys aren't scrubs. They'll turn it on.

As do I... I said it earlier in this thread.

Really, why do we continue to throw Inge fastballs?

I thought that was just good hitting.

It was, but maybe more than anyone in baseball, he's a fastball hitter. This umpire is awful though!

Jose keeps dropping down on almost every pitch...

Polanco's a big batter in this game....a 2 out hit would give Tigers a ton of momentum.

he should automatically be out for wearing that dumb head sock or whatever it is

Until the bottom half of the inning when we face one of their relievers again.

couldnt have rolled that ball any better

big at bat here indeed

Contreras doesn't get near the swings and miss on his fork ball like he used to. Tigers might have the bases loaded very soon.

this could get ugly

Broadway went 7-1 tonight, and Fields is 3-3 with 2b, HR.

Anyone with gameday that can report what Jose's velocity is? And just like that, we're losing. The sooner Contreras is released, the better!
