As someone mentioned earlier, the worst thing that could have happened was Thome's opening day against C.C. It sure would be nice to have Fields with the big league club to play against LHP.

Well, some people on this site aren't very smart. His 92 mph fastball and uncontrollable slider makes him a very average pitcher in terms of stuff now. That was bad managing there, as you have to know the type of hitters MacDougal would be facing. PLEASE GET WASSERMAN ON THE BIG LEAGUE ROSTER!
