edit: caveat to this, I would honestly have no problems with him starting over Uribe right now if it meant more ABs for Ramirez.

Take a look at the SS on this team now. Do we really want to lock that up for a long time. Just hope Cabrera doesnt mess up enough to ruin his Elias rankings for next year. Ramirez should be down in AAA playing SS everyday.

Cabrera is ridiculously overrated. Is this how he was as an everyday player? I know it's only been a month, but damn. He just isn't that good defensively.

I was so happy to see BA get that game-winner. He's been through a lot in his young career, but he has stuck with it, and now it's paying off for him. Just wish he would get some more PT. Though it's hard with Quentin playing as well as he has, and Swisher and Dye in the other OF positions.

I'll take the day-split. Now lets go get another win tomorrow afternoon!

There's no question, PK has been awful. It might not be bad for this team to have a hungry player like BA in the lineup for another game.

Game two on WGN and a bottom of the 9th Sox winner and BA the hero. Truly doesn't get any better than that. I loved it! You also have to give it to Jenks for fighting back hard.

I can almost swear that I saw at least one game in 06 where BA won it with a homer or at least an RBI. That's just why I don't get the absolute hooplah. Not like dude hasn't won a game in the clutch at least once before. But still, I was definitly happy to see him come through. And I'm in the Ramirez fan club; but dude really should be in AAA. I get it, he's Cuban and can talk to Contreras. That's not a reason for him to be up here. He's a man, he can learn how to adjust to the US without a 50 year old starting pitcher babysitter.
