If you watch him this year, he has a lot of pull fouls with home run distance. Thats a sign of guessing early a lot. His bat is a tick slow right now and the question is, age, injury, or mechanical flaw. That 92 mph fastball that was up in the zone, and that is normally a pitch Thome crushes.
