Featured Replies

would it be possible for anyone to locate a video or audio clip of DJ's famed "uh oh" homerun call? thanks.

:uhoh

or the one a few years ago

"Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhh myyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy! That's 3 runssssssssssssss buh-bye!"

lol

I don't know whose Home Run calls is/was worse....

1) D.J.: "UHHHHHHHHHHH OHHHHHHH"

2) Singleton: "That one is hit high and deep and touch them all __________" (mind that the in his tone of voice never changes)

3) Other

Question:

Does D.J. sah "Uh Oh" because it's his trademark bad homer call, or does he say "Uh Oh" because he's scared that he's about to have to make a home run call?

Unquestionably the latter.

I have to say DJ's call of Dye's blast last night was pretty good. You could feel the enthusiasm in his voice.

As much as people criticize alot of the homerun calls across the board,I have to laugh when I think of my own homerun calls and everyone elses. They are ridiculous and dont even make sense half the time.

I think he does that because he would sound silly doing the put it on the boooooard call all by himself.

BTW: does Hawk have any stories--ANY--that aren't about... him?

Geez last night I swear every story was "Well when I PLAYED back in 1947..." (or whatever it was).

Me, me, me.

So tired of that guy.

Yeah, that was awesome. It was more than just the words, it was the sound of his voice as well.

The best one I heard of was a minor league stadium announcer who made this call in the bottom of the twelve as a HR was re-tying the game

"Oh f***! We're going to be here all f***ing night . . . oh s***, is the mic on? Hello??

Even though i hate him, Farmers was pretty good too.

Why can't everyone's home run call be like mine "Get the f*** out of here".

Adios senor pelota. - All star Baseball 99 best call ever

steve stone and ed farmer are way better than hawk and dj.. dj repeats himself way too much and talks some weird nonsense alot and hawk is getting a bit over the hill..

The ones they play on Mulley and Hanley are hilarious.
