quick NBA fact i just heard, which is remarkable because you never hear people complain about the big teams always winning in basketball as much as you do in baseball....but 25 of the last 29 NBA championships have been won by either the teams in the conference finals, or the bulls

Throw the Rockets in there and it would be 27 out of 29

In the NBA, one guy can make a difference. MJ, Shaq...

Hawk is setting up tomorrows shutdown, "That Laffey knows what he is doing"

Hawk everyone knows what they are doing so far this year.

He's gonna come at AJ with a fastball. 2-1

no doubt, i was just surprised because it was something i hadnt really thought about, and nobody really complains or talks about parity like they do in MLB or NFL

GREAT AT-BAT by AJ. Come on Q!!!

Edited by maggsmaggs

Just a great at-bat by AJ there .. a great batte

Game TIED!

YEEE-USSSS!!!!

Great AB by AJ!

That was a professional AB. 2 strikes, man in scoring postion and he hits it back up the middle. Thats what we need more of.

Great AB by AJ!

absolutely....fought off tough pitches and just put the ball in play....that reminded me of the AJ in minnesota

AJ is really getting some good AB's this year.

I think it would be an issue if not as many teams made the playoffs. Baseball IMO gets the parity talk because it has the fewest playoff teams. How many teams go more than 10 years without a playoff appearance?

And now AJ switches spots with OC. Q do your thang./=

The Indians announcers are the polar opposite of Hawk. They are extremely critical of their own players.

Those looked more than several inches off the plate.

Those looked like strikes when they crossed. CQ should have known to swing after the first two were called strikes. It's ok, good to see us fight back.

That was an odd strike zone.

Nice zone blue. The umps need to be called to task after this year of asshat calls, and dumb crap like the wandering strikezone.

No way in hell were those pitches strikes.

their color guy is a brutal homer most of the time...he may be critical of his own guys but outside of blylevyn hes one of my least favorite guys to listen to

It seems like the Sox have had to deal with quite a few inconsistent (bad) umpiring jobs this year. That pitch wasn't even close.

They were pretty good pitches. Not that its an excuse not to swing though.

There are some good announcers out there that call a great game even when their team isn't performing well
