It isn't a good thing to get a 2-0 lead and have the Sox pitcher turn aroud and give runs back right away. he had been doing real good for the first 2 innings

Yes, prior to getting Swisher. I heard the other day that if the Sox had got Fukudome, the Cubs were going to trade for Swisher.
