The offense was manhandled and Ozzie shows that he has no clue how to manage in a close game.

 

13 f***ing hits and 3 runs. I don't even know why I'm mad anymore. This is the offense and I should expect disappointment.

Walker HAS to go. Off day tomorrow on a travel day. Perfect time.

Our pitching was good enough to win every game this series, yet we walk out 1-3. Same thing happeened when we faced the Angels. This team is going to have a hard time winning against good pitching, because our offense sucks.

Thornton has generally not been very good coming in for a second inning, IIRC.

i'm not trying to making chicken salad out of chicken s***, but the upside is that the pitching remains a strong point for this team. And good pitching will always contend. I would be much more concerned if the sox were getting shelled and losing games 10-9.

What the hell happened to the approach everyone on this team was taking the first few weeks of the season....we were all praising Walker then......but s*** looks like it was just luck....

when uribe starts playing instead of Alexei "because Uribe is not a defensive liability", i'll probably stop watching these games all together. i took some heat for bashing ozzie on this site, and today was a perfect example of why i think his baseball IQ and overall intelligence is rather lacking, he's just not smart.
