Time to earn your keep Kong.

Our hitters are taking some very good pitches to hit.

At some point soon, they will put on the dramatic shift on kong.

I'd pay real money to see a team put on a no 1st baseman shift for a righty.

Always throw soft and away to Paulie and Thome.

Pull baseball that inning. Hopefully we see Logan instead of Loaiza.

If that comes back to bite us, I will be uber pissed.

(of Alexei's play at the plate)....pretty much looks that way about right now.

So who wants to say that Alexei not touching home came back to kill us? haha

I want to watch the game but so drawn to the S Cup

Since the SECOND it happened I honestly knew it was going to make a difference later on. If we lose this game, I'll be mighty pissed (seeing Bobby blow saves just makes my blood boil, too). We could have gotten more runs out of that inning, too.

Bad feeling Tehan is going to go yard.

almost

Um, Brian Anderson is winning the game in the bottom of this inning. It's fate.

Have to find a way to face a Royals pitcher not named Ramirez or Soria.

I fully agree.

Maybe the 2nd best reliever in the AL is in, after Mariano.

Typical Sox extra inning swings so far. Dye gets a pitch right down the plate, and swings straight up.

Dye's been for crap the last 4-5 games or so....

couldnt have asked for a better pitch JD

Ouch, terrible call on the 2-0.

Stupid f***ing baseball

wow dumb play by BA. with our offense though cant say that i blame him.

Far from a perfect throw, Hawk, and still out by a lot.

You just knew he'd go for 3rd, and you just knew he'd be out easy.

That sucks.

I've got no problem with it -- with one out, go for it. It's not like he was out by 10 feet.

He lost his stride going around 2nd. He was a step past 2nd base when the cutoff man had the ball.

agreed. but gotta tell ya....like to see the replay again...but the one I saw didn't look like he got the tag on him. Ball beat the play...but....

I don't see that as a dumb play myself /shrug

I see it as trying to make something happen because your team has managed a paultry 7 hits in 10+ innings.

A high school team could have gotten him.

It was a 2 hopper to 3rd with not too much mustard, offline, and still out easy.

Did he even look for the coach?
