Want to know one difference between Swisher and Konerko, aside from those discussed earlier? Look at Swishers AB here and the swings he has been taking. When is the last time Konerko had an AB like this?

Last time up. Paulie made an out. Just like Swisher. Its great to see 7 or 8 foul balls, but in the end, they don't give you any runs for them.

Best strategy here is to walk the bases loaded for Konerko.

he took a pitcher to 13 pitches, thats a good at bat besides the fact he flew out. The twins basically have three guys on there team, and the sox continue to let those guys beat them. Thats the difference, Basically our single A pitcher against there best player. game over.

Need a clutch one TJD.

He can have all the good at bats he wants, it be nice for him to get a hit on the roadtrip.

s***, bounces not going our way.

Who cares how many pitches you see from a one inning reliever? When you're trailing in the 7th inning, production is the only thing that matters.

A little quick with the game over there Quickman.

Man, Richard pitched better than his line would indicate. I'm really impressed with that kid. He's got a shot at being a pretty damn good pitcher, imo. I'm not saying #1 or #2, but legit #3 who will ocassionally shut teams down. I'm still not sure if he has a good enough breaking ball, but everything else he has is something I like.

Worse case your talking about a shutdown lefty reliever.

Uh oh, DJ admitted Dye's homer was foul yesterday. Hawk is going to scold him off the air.

same with konerko , who completely sucks as a baseball player. he needs a flipping shrink, and a lobotomy.

im sick to my stomach.

i am talking about the at bat not the relief pitcher.

Dye trying his best to pull everything so far this series.

A little quick with the game over there Quickman.

Well, all the momentum is with the twins right now, the sox have lost there way.

cq and jd taking the pipe in the dome

We need BA to give the rest of this team hitting lessons

Why did Hawk say no chance right away when DJ could have had him if he took a straight line to the ball?

The Sox make Carlos Gomez look so good.

Konerko's had a horrible year, I don't think anyone defending him has said otherwise. My belief with him is his injuries have accounted for the big dropoff. Maybe I'm wrong, but I don't buy Paul Konerko being a .210 hitter. My deal with Swisher is he has been awful yet people continue to stroke him.

6-4 game very soon. This team needs some f***in changes.

Konero, Swisher oh my

The point fathom made was since its not the starter thats in having a 13 pitch at bat doesn't matter against a guy who's only staying in for one inning. Only the hitter producing matters.
