The bullpen continues to be great. Another fantastic "slider" by Thornton. I can't believe some people tried to argue he had a good slider the other day.

It's just disturbing that every bullpen member of the Sox (besides Jenks) has completely lost their offspeed pitch.

maybe the charlotte knights can pull off a miracle in the 9th but i doubt it.

I wish I knew. The velocity for Linebrink, Dotel, Logan, and Thornton is fine. It just seems like over the past month, they can't throw their sliders/splitters for strikes, and those pitches are getting crushed.

Starters haven't been going long enough recently? Only thing I can think of cuz I don't believe they were over worked in the first few months.
