If our problem is offense in KC today, with every ball jumping out...then we are doomed. We have no bullpen (except Jenks) and very shoddy overall defense around the field, with the exception of Uribe recently.

Yeah, Thornton should have faced Mauer and Morneau the other day...but we've seen how well Thornton and Dotel have looked recently.
